What is CBD?
CBD stands for cannabidiol and is the second most prevalent compound in cannabis. Our CBD is derived from industrial hemp and contains less than 0.3% THC.
Is CBD legal?
Will it get me high?
In the United States, hemp derived CBD with a THC content of less than 0.3% has been legalized by the Agriculture Improvement Act of 2018 (also known as the "Farm Bill"). Why water soluble CBD?
In its natural state CBD is lipophilic, meaning that it binds to fat rather than water. In order for the human body to break down fats, they must pass through the stomach into the digestive tract. Through this process they are broken down into compounds small enough for our bodies to absorb. However, when consuming CBD isolate or oils, this process also results in the breakdown of much of the CBD. In using a water soluble CBD, we ensure that your body is able to absorb a much higher percentage of the CBD you consume, giving you more bang for your buck.
How is Gearhart Company different?
Although Gearhart Company did not open for business until 2023, we have 5 years of experience formulating health and wellness products. With a background in Food Science, we do considerable research into each ingredient and choose only the most beneficial to include in our supplements. We use quality ingredients that work well with each other to maximize the efficiency of our products.

These capsules contain water soluble CBD paired with turmeric, tart cherry, boswellia, ginger, cayenne, and black pepper. The capsules themselves are made of pullulan which promotes a strong oxygen barrier and keeps the CBD fresh and intact. We focus on using a quality blend of ingredients that work together to give you the maximum benefits possible.

Turmeric
Turmeric is a root belonging to the ginger family. Numerous studies have been conducted on the diverse health benefits of its active component, curcumin. Many people take turmeric for its anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties, and it is commonly used to help manage arthritis, exercise induced inflammation, and muscle soreness.
Black Pepper
In a number of studies, black pepper extract has exhibited antioxidant, antiviral, and anti-inflammatory properties. However, its main health benefits stem from its ability to increase the absorption of other nutrients. In one study, piperine, the active component in black pepper, has been shown to increase the bioavailability (amount absorbed by the body) of turmeric by up to 2000%.
Ginger
Ginger is a root commonly used as a spice in many cuisines and as an herbal remedy for a variety of conditions. Ginger has antimicrobial, antifungal, antioxidant, and anti-inflammatory properties. There has been research into the use of ginger as a treatment for nausea, arthritis, menstrual pain, glucose management, and more.
Boswellia
Also known as “Indian Frankincense”, Boswellia is a resin extract which has been used in Ayurvedic medicine to treat inflammatory conditions. Studies have shown that Boswellia works synergistically with the active compound in Turmeric, Curcumin.
Tart Cherry
Tart cherry extract is packed with antioxidants. Tart cherry has been studied for its impacts on exercise recovery and sleep, as well as its anti-inflammatory properties. One study suggests that tart cherry may reduce muscle fatigue and increase recovery speed after exercise.
Cayenne
Cayenne pepper contains an array of nutrients including: magnesium, potassium, calcium, vitamins A, C, and E, and much more. Cayenne has been studied for its antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties, as well as its potential for prevention of an assortment of chronic diseases
